The Worcester Christmas Market is a Victorian Fayre bringing the Victorian theme to the centre of Worcester for 4 days this festive period. The fayre helps visitors celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with over 200 stalls to browse throughout the city centre. The stalls will be selling lots of local arts and crafts as well as food and drink produce and much more. The market is the perfect place to pick up some Christmas gifts for friends and family. Some of the stalls at the market will be selling hot street food including hog roast sandwiches and roasted chestnuts as well as seasonal drinks like mulled wine and hot chocolate. As the Worcester Christmas Market is a Victorian Fayre, there is a number of characters walking throughout the market who are dressed in Victorian clothing. You’ll see Victorian ladies, men, children in traditional Victorian clothing as well as chimney sweets and merchants. Visitors are also encouraged to dress up in Victorian attire for the market. After all, the more, the merrier! Keeping on the Victorian theme, there will also be a funfair at the market featuring the classic carousel and galloper. Entertainment will be in the form of traditional carol singers singing some of the best Christmas songs helping to create the best festive atmosphere. There is also a Victorian theme bar, perfect for visitors to warm up with a mulled wine or hot cider.
