Set in the beautiful town of Windermere in the Lake District, Windermere Christmas Market is a must for locals and visitors to the area. 

The market will have over 50 stalls spread throughout the town centre. The stalls will be packed full of local food and drink products including many festive additions, and also some handmade gifts and decorations. Visitors can take their time browsing, sampling and shopping and enjoying the most wonderful time of the year. Whether you need to do lots of Christmas shopping or just seeing if anything tempts you, there will be of gift options here. You may also be tempted to get a treat for yourself! You can expect to find local cheese and chutney, Lakes Gin and vodka, prints of the Lake District, biscuits, fudge, jams and marmalades, sweets, and much more. 

The market only started in 2016 but this year it will be bigger and better than ever before. As well as shopping, you will be able to get festive food and drinks. Have a turkey sandwich or a sweet treat and wash down it with a delicious glass of mulled wine. 

A brass band and local choirs will provide the perfect festive atmosphere. Visit with friends, family or your partner and make the most of the Christmas period.
