The Big Derbyshire Food Festival at Shipley Park returns for another year with a few surprises up its sleeve.

We have some of the very best local cuisine to sample as well as all the usual thirst-quenching regulars like Gin, Prosecco and Pimms, Real ale and home brewed ciders.

Where do your taste buds want to go this year? How about the Caribbean with a taste of spiced wrapped chicken or maybe you fancy a trip across to Greece where we have the delicious lamb kebabs with creamy sauces to accompany. If you’re not too adventurous and prefer to stay a little closer to home, we have Dirty fries with loaded toppings, cheese, chilli, bacon, pulled pork whatever you fancy.

For those of you who crave a little sugar, we have the delightful Churros dripping in chocolate or just coated in cinnamon and sugar if you prefer, cakes and bakes to make your eyes water or try the fabulous handmade marshmallows and fudge.

This year also see the new Cake making competition in two categories, junior and adult where you bake a cake and bring it along to the Cake off tent where we will have prizes for the best cake in show.

Live music throughout the weekend, something for the little ones and a few stalls for the pooches too! A Free weekend not to be missed.
