Taste of the South Festival returns to Dorset for a second year this July! Celebrating all things from across the South, this culinary extravaganza will have your taste buds tantalised! There will be a centre stage with local bands, live music, acts and entertainment throughout the day, including award-winning chef demonstrations, which will be judged by delicious. mag!
The festival location is adjacent to Bournemouth Airport and is easily accessible from the A338 as well as Wimborne, Ferndown, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and surrounding areas.
Local food, drink and artisan producers will be giving you a taste of their local wines, cheese, chutneys, street food, ice cream, and many more mouth-watering sights and smells to tempt you as well as perfect gifts and goodies from the handmade arts, crafts, artisans who are showcasing a unique array of products.
Look out for our new ‘Zen Den’ area, which aims to incite self- love and growth through various ideas, tips and tricks encouraging you to learn how to listen to what your body needs, from spiritual growth, to natural remedies. Things you can expect in the Zen Den include: outdoor yoga classes by Yoga Lounge Bournemouth, healthy food & drink stands, vegan and vegetarian speciality stands, environmentally – friendly products, skincare, advice clinics, and talks plus much more.
It’s a children friendly event with a dedicated ‘Cub Corner’ area for fun, games and activities for all the family. Expect to see story-telling, games, arts and crafts, face painting and even the chance to test their own chef skills!
For a weekend of good food and drink, live entertainment and family fun, head down on 21-22nd July.
