The Taste of Sudbury is an annual festival held in the centre of Sudbury, and is all about celebrating, promoting and showcasing the region’s very best producers, restaurants and chefs.
This year, there will be over 60 mouth-watering stalls on Market Hill, a fabulous main kitchen theatre with a line-up of top class local chefs giving free demonstations and masterclasses. Traders will be selling a whole range of top quality produce including Lavenham Red Poll beef, culinary, medicinal and aromatic fresh herbs, wild boar sausage rolls, locally grown summer soft fruits, award winning sourdoughs, Suffolk and Essex sausages, jams, marinades, conserves and pates, freshly baked cakes and locally distilled gins and vodkas.
Inside St Peters is our area for small scale entrepreneurs to wow visitors with their homemade produce including brownies, macaroons and scones, oriental sauces, Suffolk wines, local apple juices, Norwegian pastries, Suffolk biltong and locally shot venison.
The Taste of Sudbury is a uniquely free event for the community – there will be a selection of street food trucks and quirky horseboxes, picnic tables, family fun areas, bars and benches in the sunshine plus we’ll have music too!
Entry to the event is totally free of charge. Parking in town is free and there will be a free Park and Ride system in place, starting at 9.45am from The Delphi Car Park, Newton Road, Sudbury, CO10 2RR. The free bus will run every 15 minutes throughout the day.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
