The Stone Food Festival is considered the biggest food gathering in Staffordshire. From starting as a small town market, the festival is now one of the biggest and most popular in the Midlands. The festival is a celebration of local food and drink. Part of the festival takes place on the high street of the town where there will be plenty of market stalls influenced by a traditional farmers market. At these stalls, you will find local produce including cheese, meats and pies. The main site for the festival is at the park where there will be a wide range of activities for all the family.
The festival is a perfect way to spend a day with the family and enjoy plenty of delicious food and drink. The live entertainment includes cooking demonstrations from some of the top chefs in the local area as well as some famous names. This is a chance to get some top tips from the experts to take back to your kitchen. There will also be talks, tastings and cooking masterclasses for adults and kids so there is definitely plenty of chance to improve your cooking at this festival. On the main site of the festival, there is also a gourmet food marquee where you will be spoilt for choice with the vast amount of street food on offer. And don’t forget to visit the beer tent to fully experience the Stone Food Festival and try some of the local craft beer and ale.
