When spring arrives, a great way to spend the weekend can be making the most of one of the many National Trust sites up and down the country. What if though, you could spend time enjoying a National Trust site and a food festival all at the same location? Well, the great news is, you can. The Spring Tide Food Festival combines the glorious scenery of Hive Beach along from Bridport with a food festival jam-packed full of activities and things to eat and drink.
The aim of this festival is to welcome in the new season of food and ingredients in style, to celebrate the pleasure that can be had in the growing and cultivation, the production and cooking and consumption of tasty food and drink. The festival organisers are supported by a wide network of independent artisan food and drink producers from Somerset, East Devon and Dorset. There is so much delicious food and drink going to be on display to try and buy at the festival that you really will be spoilt for choice.
More than a dry and dull event, the Spring Tide Food Festival has a very energetic and fun atmosphere and as well as the normal food festival activities, there will also be a wealth of live entertainment to soundtrack the weekend. There is not just food on display either, as you may be able to find a treat or two for you and your home in the many arts and crafts stalls.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
