The Southbank Christmas Market transforms the streets of London on the Southbank into a magical winter scene packed full of market stalls and twinkling lights. The Southbank runs along the River Thames so this Christmas market is in the perfect place for you to create some festive memories in London. Eat, drink and be merry in one of the best cities in the world. The pop-up market stalls offer visitors a chance to taste some of the best street food, alcoholic beverages and sweet treats from around the world. Some stalls will also be selling hand-made gifts so you can pick up some last minute Christmas presents.

As well as the market stalls, the South Bank Christmas Market will be hosting a number of free activities and entertainment for all to enjoy. The Christmas shows include Circus 1903 offering guests the chance to watch daring live entertainment and skilled animal puppetry. For the younger ones in your family, there will also be showing of Rumpelstiltskin, a fairy tale with plenty of theatrical music and festive fun. Also in the Southbank, there will be free performances and workshops throughout December where visitors of all ages can take part in dancing, music and crafts.
