Celebrate the delicious food and drink from the local area of Shaftesbury at the Shaftesbury Food and Drink Festival. Packed along the streets you will be able to browse the many market stalls brimming full of amazing local food and drink produce. The festival will feature the Anonymous Travelling Market, the Dorset Farmers Market and the Dorset Food and Drink market. Browse, sample and buy a wide range of products including baked goods, liquor, coffee and tea, chilli, chocolate, jams and marmalades, brownies and much more.

For the real foodies, there will be live cooking demonstrations out the town hall. Visitors can watch live demonstrations from local chefs who will be cooking their favourite dishes on stage. Watch them cook a wide range of dishes including fish, meat, vegan, sweet and savoury inspired dishes using quality local produce. And of course, there will be samples!

Throughout the day there will also entertainment and activities for everyone to enjoy. In Swans Yard, there will be live music featuring some of the best local bands and artists. There will also be local arts and crafts for sale and dancing to take part in at the Shaftesbury Abbey Gardens. And not forgetting about the annual cheese races up Gold Hill, very entertaining if you watch or hard work if you’re brave to take part in.
