Held in Peterborough’s Cathedral, visitors come to Peterborough for this famous Christmas market in a beautiful setting. With around 30 local traders selling unique, hand-crafted gifts and baked goods, there’s plenty of treats to go around. From candles and pine cone decorations to hand-painted nutcrackers, you’ll be able to cross the whole family off of your shopping list. A beautiful place to visit with a loved one, the grounds of this Cathedral brings the magic of Christmas to life. 

Some of the proceeds go to various charities (in the past Help for Heroes being one of them), so if you’re looking to spread some cheer to others this year, be sure to donate to the Church or the market stalls that are fundraising for them.  

As well as looking around the markets, there will be plenty of fun, games and live performances to enjoy, especially for the little ones. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to meet some Christmas characters. And you might even be able to hand-deliver your Christmas list to Santa Claus!
