The Oxford Food Festival is the place to be for all foodies. The biggest UK food festival travels across the country and is making an appearance in Oxford. The festival is a celebration of food and has plenty of food-related activities, stalls and other entertainment to keep everyone happy. There will be over 30 street food stalls offering mouth-watering food inspired by countries from around the world. To accompany the delicious street food, there is plenty of refreshing beverages from the Tiki Rum Bar, Gin Station and Tequila Shack. Other market stalls have artisan produce from local and national producers where you can sample and buy artisan food and drinks.
There is plenty at the Oxford Food Festival to keep you and your family entertained. The Drinks Theatre has fun masterclasses where guests can learn about prosecco (whilst drinking it) and there is live music from local bands to create a fun atmosphere. In the Chef’s Theatre, visitors can watch top class Chef’s from the local area, TV and food authors who will all demonstrate some of their favourite food dishes. This is the perfect opportunity to get hints and tips from the best chefs to take home to your own kitchen. For some light-hearted entertainment, there is a creampie throwing competition, cheese stretching classes and a chilli eating competition. For the little ones, there is plenty of fun to be had int he Kids Cookery Theatre and the kid zone where there are face painting and bouncy castles. The Oxford Food Festival is the perfect day out for all the family. There are food, drink and entertainment for all ages and interests and will be the perfect place to create family memories.
