In July Otley is once again proud to present Otley Food and Drink Festival. The picturesque town will host the festival with it’s amazing array of local food and drinks, the 50 stalls my have some familiar faces, such as some of the farmers and stall holders from the regular Otley Farmers’ Market. Set in the Market Square there will be much to whet your appetite, the finest local produce for you to try out and take home for later.

The day wouldn’t be complete without a chef or two, and they will be in the cookery theatre doing demonstrations so you can hone your culinary skills. There will be food tasting and wine tasting too. One thing we can be sure of, you won’t leave the festival hungry!

Food is wonderful and drink is too, but what is a festival without music? There will be live music, street performers such as the two man one man band and others. There will be things for the kids to do and see, activities to join in with like face painting and balloon animals too. There is something for every family member at the Otley Food and Drink Festival.

If you want to stay in Otley for the Festival and onwards, there are a variety of places to accommodate you. If you are on a budget why not try the camp site where you can stay in a tent, mobile home or caravan. There is also the Black Horse Hotel which is a historical coach house, or perhaps you would prefer Dowgill House, which is a grade two listed building?

For a more modern and luxurious stay, try the Chevin Country Park Hotel and Spa. This lovely hotel is nestled in the Yorkshire countryside and after a long day wandering round the Otley Food and Drink Festival you can relax with a spa treatment!
