Now in it’s fourth year, Nottingham Food and Drink Festival is back at Wollaton Park this August 12th and 13th. The Park is a really spectacular venue and worthy of such an event. Always aiming to be bigger and better, this years festival promises to be a whole world of fun for visitors whatever their age.
Celebrity Line-up
There is a great celebrity line-up, with headliner chefs on the country kitchen demonstration stage. You can look forward to Theo Randall, and Edd Kimber on Saturday, and Matt Tebbutt and Chantelle Nicholson on Sunday. For beer connoisseurs there are the Craft Beer Boys on both days. There are other chefs for you to watch and learn from, and you are bound to pick up not just culinary tips but also recipes and ideas for your own kitchen.
Market Stalls
There is a huge amount of food and drink produce, from the local region and from further afield. You will be able to bring a picnic basket and stock up for lunch, and there is a beer marquee so you can enjoy washing it down, too. There are activities for all ages, so no need to worry about the kids getting bored, either.
Music
No festival is complete without live music and Nottingham Food and Drink Festival is no exception. You will have live music all day, of many varieties. We cannot confirm acts right now, and we like to keep some tricks up our sleeve so you will have to come back and check out the bands playing.
There will be an amazing amount of food, from pizzas and burgers to Penguin pie and Buffalo pie. Real penguin? No. Real Buffalo? Yes!
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
