For one day only, the Macclesfield Food Festival is free to enter with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Join in with celebrating the Queen’s Birthday and enjoy everything the festival has to offer.
The artisan food and drink market stalls give visitors a chance to browse, sample and buy some of the best local food and drink produce. There will be a wide range of tasty products to taste and purchase to take home and enjoy. From locally produced cheese, chilli sauce, jam and marmalades to freshly baked foods and artisan chocolates, you will be spoilt for choice! There will also be a number of stalls serving street food, drinks and sweet treats. Tuck into delicious street food from local traders and enjoy with a cold alcoholic beverage or sweet treat including waffles, churros and ice cream.
Throughout the day, local and celebrity chefs will be holding cooking demonstrations. Pick up some tips on how to make their favourite dishes to take back to your own kitchen. If you’re gluten-free or want to learn more about gluten-free baking, make sure you attend the gluten-free baking demonstration hosted by Chris Waling.
Perfect for all ages, this festival has something for everyone. There will be live entertainment throughout the day which includes street performers and a great line up of music featuring local bands and musicians.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
