The Irish Game Fair and Fine Food Festival is the must visit place for country sports enthusiasts, with clay pigeon shooting, whippet and lurcher activities, also gun dog and terrier events.

The Irish Game Fair also boasts a fantastic range of activities for children. There is a living history village with medieval jousting, also a viking long-ship and encampment. The history doesn’t end there, children can also witness a battle of Antrim re-enactment and encampment. If that wasn’t enough, there is a children’s entertainment area with lots of have a go activities for them to get involved in.

Animal lovers old and young will love looking at all the creatures, from ferrets to falcons. There is a put and take fishery with angling instruction. The whole day takes place in the Shanes Castle Estate, a beautiful and historic place sure to inspire awe.
