The name of the event is taken from the tiki tours of Kiwis whereby they would take a trip with no fixed destination in mind, just a scenic route that was supposed to awaken the senses. This particular trip is not in some outback region of New Zealand, but is executed in a similar fashion to the Pacific Islands. The difference is, with this walk you get the chance to discover new favourite wines.
