The Far Forest Countryside Show means two days of entertainment set in the beautiful county of Worcester. Since it started it has increased its following year on year and last year’s show saw some changes to the main arena which made it much more popular and brought in a wider range of people.
This year it intends to increase its appeal still further, with two arenas with traditional entertainment as well as modern. Since last year’s show included a stunt motorbike act, who knows what the organisers have come up with to beat that?
More traditionally there are dog shows including agility shows, dancing and falconry displays.
There are three marquees offering horticulture and food, with the last marquee simply for home crafts and hobbies where local crafters can show off their makes. In the food marquee and in the home crafts and hobbies marquee you can spend time browsing and get some really original and exciting gifts that you would simply not be able to get elsewhere.
There will of course be music from bands live on stage. Children don’t miss out either, with children’s rides including the tractor circuit – very popular in other year’s it is too – and animal encounters in the livestock area. If fur and hooves don’t take your fancy, why not have a look in the vintage car, caravan and steam engine exhibition?
As well as all this you can expect lots of stalls selling goods food and drink. Street traders with hot and cold food and as always, something lovely to wash it all down with.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it all, there is camping available overnight.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
