Held at the grounds of Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens, Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink brings together some of the top chefs in the region with more than 100 of the very best food producers from the region. All with the aim of making it one of the most delicious weekends on the food lover’s calendar.
If you have never been to this festival, the organisers guarantee that you will be astonished at the produce the West Country has to offer. This includes fresh and scrumptious farmhouse-baked bread, thick and rich creams, mouth-watering ciders and tasty cheeses to name just a few. There also will be plenty of time to get to know the local producers, try their offerings and chat about the food you love with like-minded people.
No good food festival is complete without demonstrations by top chefs and as this event has been co-founded by 2 Michelin Star-owning chef Michael Caines MBE, who will also be performing alongside other big names from the world of food, you can be sure of an interesting weekend. We would go as far as to say it would be wise to take along a notepad to take a note of all the wonderful recipes the special guests will be sharing.
In the evening there is also a music festival people can attend where they’ll also be lots of food and drink for you to indulge in whilst your enjoying the live music performances.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
