The Didcot Food Festival is the perfect festival for fans of delicious food (who isn’t?!). The festival is organised by Christine Wallace who was a quarterfinalist in the Great British Bake Off in 2013. Held in Didcot, a railway town in Oxfordshire, the festival is a perfect day out for families. The food festival features some of the best produce from the local area including cakes, wine, preserves and meats.
There is something for everyone at this food festival. Whether you enjoy a juicy burger or a vegetarian option of halloumi, there is plenty of ways to enjoy the delicious street food. At the festival, there is also wine and whisky tastings and a pop-up bar for fans of alcohol and who are over 18. The wide range of market stalls will give visitors a chance to browse, taste and buy some of the delicious food and drink from the local and national area. There is also plenty of live entertainment at the Didcot Food Festival including live music and live chef demonstrations. Live music comes from local musical acts that provide a fun atmosphere for all visitors to the festival. Chef demonstrations are from local chefs that give insights into their favourite dishes so you can get tips and tricks to take back to your own kitchen.
The Didcot Food Festival is a fun day out for people of all ages and interests. With plenty of different food on offer, visitors can enjoy delicious food and drink inspired by different cultures and flavours from the local area and worldwide.
