The Cornish Gin and Drinks Festival is the first event being held in the Great Hall of the Alverton Hotel. The festival is great fun for everyone and a chance for visitors to celebrate local gin. On entry, everyone will be given a free souvenir glass and their first drink will also be free (with the ticket).

The festival is a chance for visitors to explore the wide variety of gin from the local and regional area. Sample some of the best Cornish gin as well as other drinks which will be available and meet some of the makers, industry experts and producers to learn more about this delicious spirit. There will be a line-up of demonstrations where you can watch top quality bartenders make cocktails and hear from industry experts about the best gin and tonic pairings. This will be the perfect chance to pick up some tips to create your own cocktails at home. 

Whilst at the festival you will be able to enjoy some hot and cold food, perfect to soak up all that gin! And there will be live music in the evening to help create the perfect party atmosphere. So make sure you attend with your friends, family, work colleagues or partner for a day full of gin and fun!
