Waddesdon Manor are turning up the heat for their annual chilli festival. Browse 50 handpicked stallholders selling chilli-related from cheese to cakes and oils to chutneys. Chilli Fest brings together local artisan producers as well as the nation’s best loved independent traders from all over the country, all in the Aviary gardens.
Tuck into something tantalisingly tangy for lunch from hot food stalls. If it all gets too hot you can cool down with a drink from a great range of bars and drink stands.
See inside the Manor with a free taster house visit, and walk through some of the 19th century rooms where Baron Ferdinand De Rothschild entertained his famous guests, including Queen Victoria. There will even be chillies growing in the conservatory!
All through the weekend there will be live acoustic music, children’s craft activities, face painting as well as the opportunity to walk the grounds and explore the house (pre-booking recommended). Don’t forget to pull on your dancing shoes and join the party, by taking part in free 30 minute salsa dancing demonstrations and performances throughout the weekend.
