If the idea of spending a day sipping on the most sensational and diverse array of wines from around the world sounds appealing to you, you may want to mark April 1st in your diary. On that day at The Cheltenham Wine Festival takes place at spectacular Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham.
There will be in excess of 300 different wines on display and available to taste from new and old vineyards from locations around the world. As well as enabling you to explore some of your firm favourites, it will also give you the chance to try out some new exotic wines. You can also expect to see some homegrown wines from British independent wine merchants such as Sheldon’s Wine Cellar from Shipston-on-Stour and Tivoli Wines based in Gloucestershire.
The festival will also feature highly experienced experts who will share their knowledge and deep love for the various varieties and styles of wines from New Zealand, USA, South Africa, France, Chile, Argentina and Italy to name just a handful. In addition to attendance at the event, the ticket price also includes as a special bonus a free, stylish tote bag made from cotton and all the tasting samples available at the event.
