With over 170 real ales and more than 50 ciders and perries, the Chelmsford Winter Beer & Cider Festival is the perfect excuse to drink and have a good time. The 3-day festival has a wide range of drinks including over 170 real ales including ale from the local area, across the country and around the world. There are also over 50 ciders, perries and ‘pyders’ for those who prefer sweeter or less bitter drink. Sample new ales and ciders and enjoy some of your favourites served in a refundable commemorative glass which you can keep as a great souvenir. 

Also at the festival will be a selection of soft drinks for those who are driving or do not drink. And there will be a selection of hot and cold food served from Hopleaf including chips, burgers and chilli. Oddfellows Chocolate will also be offering a range of chocolates and truffles for those with a sweet tooth. And crisps will be available for purchase, the perfect addition to a pint of ale.

The Chelmsford Winter Beer & Cider Festival is fully accessible and welcomes everyone, over the age of 18 and free for CAMRA members. With a large variety of drinks on offer as well as food to be enjoyed, visiting the festival is a brilliant way to spend a cold February day.
