Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival is back for another year, and it’s ready to share the culinary skills of East Anglia with everyone who interested in a weekend of food festival fun.
There will be a wide range of events for young and old alike, such as Farmers market and a whole host of cookery demonstrations. There will be celebrity chefs to educate and entertain, including James Tanner and Galton Blackiston. There will be children’s entertainment as well as things for adults, including an urban beach in town.
Local restaurants and cafes will be doing demonstrations, as well as some local celebrity chefs.
Last year was a real blast so this year should be amazing too. Some of the highlights of last years festival were the amusements for the children, a funfair complete with helter skelter and of course that wonderful beach; as well as the tasting, so you know exactly what you are buying in the farmers markets.
A local sushi bar had a big red bus so people could board and try their selections, and there was the cast of Alice in Wonderland having tea. There were activities for the children and tae-kwondo demonstrations too. It’s a vibrant busy town anyway, so with the Food and Drink Festival here, it’s even more exciting. There are lots of contacts to make and people to meet, you are sure to have a great time. Whether you are a foodie, or you are a trader and you want to make contacts and get involved with the local community, it’s all happening at the Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival!
