Beccles Food and Drink Festival is set to tantalise the taste buds when it returns to the town centre. This free to attend event runs from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., will consist of upwards of 50 stalls selling a variety of raw and cooked food, preserves, pickles, oils and other condiments, confectionery, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Joining established and popular stalls, the organisers are pleased to welcome new producers to the 2018 event, including Cocoa May from Sotterley, Chet and Waveney Vineyard from Berghapton and Harleston Cider, while from further afield Taste Collective from Felixstowe make their first appearance.

There will also be stalls nearby in and around St. Michael’s Church, and also in the Public Hall, where a variety of cookery demonstrations and talks will take place. There will be music and children’s entertainment around the town centre.

People visiting are encouraged to use public transport to the town, or make use of the Free Park and Ride minibuses from the Festival car park at Beccles Quay.

This is now the fourth year of the Food and Drink Festival, which has become a popular event in the calendar for both producers and visitors alike.
