Free entry, over 100 real ales, craft beers and cider and live music – sounds like a great day out!

The Barnsley CAMRA & Elsecar Heritage Railway Beer Festival is held in the Heritage Railway, perfect for train enthusiasts. So whether you love beer or trains, this is a great chance to explore the best local ale and enjoy train rides at the Heritage Railway.

Under 2 marquees in the railway yard, visitors can sample and drink real ale, craft beer, cider and perries from over 100 to choose from! There will also be soft drinks and hot drinks to accommodate everyone. Explore and sample some of the best local ale and craft beer whilst catching up with friends and enjoying the railway station. The festival will also have hot and cold food available for visitors to eat at the festival and enjoy alongside their drinks.

Friday will be a quiet day and on Saturday, Sunday and Monday there will be live music to provide the perfect soundtrack to beer drinking. And you can go on train rides at the Heritage railway every day!
