The Abingdon Food Festival is a festival organised by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper and is supported by Thame Valley Air Ambulance. The food and drink festival is the perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon with friends and family. There is plenty on offer at the festival to keep people of all ages, interests and tastes happy.
At Abingdon Food Festival there is a wide selection of exciting food inspired by cultures from around the world. Visitors to the festival can indulge in gourmet burgers, churros, waffles, street food, vegetarian dishes, luxury ice cream and much more. There is also plenty of local produce including cheese, chilli, chutney and preserves, sauces and sweets to sample and buy to take home. Wash down your delicious street food with an ice cold, refreshing beverage from the great selection on offer at the drink stalls. From cask ale and bottled beer and cider to gin and liquors for those over 18 and don’t forget to check out the Pimms and Prosecco stall. For those under 18 or driving, there are mocktails, hot tea and coffee and soft drinks available. To keep guests at the festival entertained throughout the day there are live cooking demonstrations in a fully equipped kitchen featuring local chefs. As well as baking demonstrations from the local baking school and guest bakers who judge the best cake of the day. There is also live music throughout the day form local bands and artists to help create a relaxing atmosphere whilst you enjoy the great selection of food and drink.
