This food and drink event is inspired by the Marathon du Medoc that runs in the Medoc wine region of France each year.

The 10k will start and finish in Malton’s pretty Market Place, then the participants will be taken through beautiful Yorkshire countryside where there will be 10 food and drink stops along the way where gourmet food and drink can be sampled!

Whilst the 10k is underway, there will also be festivities and food in the Market Place including some delicious street food and games for all the family.

On offer will be local specialties like award-winning craft beer and wine, miniature Yorkshire puddings with roast beef, macarons from the UK pastry champion and even pan fried grouse on toast!

The whole concept is designed to create a fun team atmosphere – one long drinks party. A celebration of the best Yorkshire food and drink, a bit of healthy exercise and a great way to see the countryside! Not forgetting the carb parties the night before!

The dress code for the event is fancy dress.
