The drinks festival with a twist brings together a unique selection of craft beer, gin, wine, rum, cider and coffee coupled with great street food traders and live music.
Back again in the Crewe Heritage Centre (behind Tesco), this festival broke new ground bringing together different drinks all under one roof with a fantastic atmosphere. Easily accessible on the mainline trains, there’s no excuse not to visit.
The beer list is pretty unique with 35 specially selected craft kegs from the UK and some European imports. They’re broken up in to categories to make life easy so pick something “Light & Hoppy” or tantalise your tastebuds with something from “Weird Wacky & Wild” amongst others.
A bottle beer stall is run by Otter’s Tears, who have one of the best selections of bottle beers around. Grab something interesting, limited edition or truly unique to drink in or take away.
The gin list is close to 100 with gins from all over the world served with Fever Tree mixers plus Turncoat are doing some pourings of their unique distillations. Add to this 15 rums (is rum going to be the next big thing?!) with Madagascan Cola, Ginger Beer or neat over ice.
Wines are brought on site with the coolest truck from Vin Van Voom, ciders from Pulp and local coffee roasters HasBean have something for that caffeine fix.
Local bands fill the stage with some great music plus there’s also the opportunity to explore the Heritage Centre exhibits.
