Dorset’s first ever wine festival will be held in the gardens of the prestigious 10 Castle Street in the heart of Cranborne.

This year’s event will have a special focus on English and Organic/Bio Dynamic wines, including some award-winning sparklings. The two day festival will also showcase over 80 -100 incredible wines from all over the world including: France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Lebanon, and New Zealand. These wines aren’t readily available in the UK and promise to be a real treat for all wine-lovers.

Come along and meet the passionate producers and growers behind some exceptional wines at this exclusive event; expect samplings, pairings and talks from a host of experts including Oz Clarke, fabulous food and live entertainment.

Wine Producers confirmed so far:

Les Caves de Pyrene

Championing small independent winemakers, Les Caves de Pyrene will select their finest examples of bio-dynamic, organic and natural wines to bring to this showcase event

Châteaux Léoville and Langoa Barton

Representing a real coup for the festival, eighth generation producer Damien from the legendary Barton family in Saint-Julien appellation Bordeaux will bring a selection of their scintillating wines to sample.

Nyetimber, UK

Located in the South Downs, West Sussex, with vineyards boasting the same chalky ground as the Champagne region Nyetimber leads the way in English Sparkling, making world-class wines. A must for any fans of fizz!

Famille Sumeire, France

The Sumeire family produce exceptional multi award-winning Provençal rosé wine under the label Chateau l’Afrique. They will be showcasing some of their latest winning vintages and limited productions at this year’s festival.

Holden Manz South Africa

The Holden Manz Wine estate in South Afrca, scooped record number of wins at this year’s awards. An exclusive grower of red grapes, the Estate only cultivates its top 16 hectares under vineyards, notably Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot; producing ultra-premium wines made for the discerning wine connoisseur.

Hecht & Bannier, France

Situated in Cotes de Provence forward thinking vintners Gregory Hecht and Francois Bannier, excel in making vivacious rosé and sparkling wines. We are thrilled that they will be bringing a selection of their heavenly award winners to the festival.

Moreson, Franschhoek, South Africa 

Moreson Wine Farm, located just outside the town of Franschhoek, are an independent family run farm famed for their estate grown medal magnets Mercator Chardonnay and Solitaire Blanc de Blancs. Nikki Friedman, the owner, will be on site to introduce guests to their wines as will her sister, Charley, who’ll be feeding the masses from her food truck ‘Growlers’ which specialises in Steak Pregos.

Bancroft Wines, UK

Bancroft are one of London’s leading agencies and distributors and their range has been strengthened by the recent addition of Joseph Perrier Champagne House, famed for being the favourite of King Edward & Queen Victoria.
