It’s with great anticipation we are looking forward to the great Cheese and Chilli Festival which is coming back to Guildford at Shalford Park. Last year was a brilliant year and we had such a great time, we are all looking forward to doing it again.

Of course, just like last time there will be so many different tastes and colours to experience, colours to see. Whatever the weather it will be a brilliant event, with everyone making the most of the food available. There will be chilli and cheeses from around the world and these will be accompanied by local street traders selling arts and crafts as well as locally produced artisan foods.

Cheese and chilli will, of course, be the main focus but there are things for everyone to enjoy. There are free activities for the kids, rides, treasure hunts and falconry displays. Also for the little ones there are magic shows and Punch and Judy.

When you have something great to eat, you want to have something great to drink, too. The amazing ales and ciders provided by Downton Brewery and Worleys Cider are sure to hit the spot. This year Dorset Mobile Bars incredible Inflatable Pub and Bar will serve visitors a wide selection of cider, wine, seasonal cocktails as well as soft drinks. Everyone from tots to Grandparents will be able to find things to enjoy!

To add to the party there is live music from many local acts, you will have to check back with us because some are yet to be confirmed.

The charity we are supporting this year, The Challengers, have a great mission – to provide inclusive fun and safe places where young people and disabled children can spend time together with friends. This goes along with their policy to offer a positive impact for the wider community. Brilliant charity, fantastic day out!
