Taste Chocolate, Bristol’s chocolate festival takes place in April to coincide with Easter weekend. Taking place within the new Bristol Harbour Hotel, the festival will feature artisan chocolatiers, specialist food producers, cookery demonstrations and new tasting experiences.
Visitors to the event can expect indulgent, beautifully crafted chocolates including speciality chocolates such as water ganache, raw, dairy and sugar free – as well as traditional handmade soft centres and truffles. In addition, there will be many complimentary artisan treats including stunning cakes and patisserie, mouth-watering fudge, locally made beers, spirits and liqueurs and indulgent hot chocolate.
The festival will also celebrate Bristol’s fascinating chocolate heritage, which couldn’t be more as the event will be taking place just a stone’s throw from JS Fry’s original shop in Small Street. This is where he first started selling chocolate in 1756, paving the way for the company to becoming one of Britain’s largest chocolate producers.
Note, please check the event website before attending. Dates can change and events can get cancelled, we can not be held responsible.
