If you are looking for a good culinary experience over the Easter holidays in Chester, you should consider taking a trip to the Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival. It is held annually at the famous Chester Racecourse with free parking on-site, it is a veritable feast of some of the very best food and drink the region of Cheshire has to offer and so much more.
Upon arrival, you will be treated to some eye-catching views, nostril-flaring aromas and lip-smacking tastes of some premium level food and drink. Over 150 exhibitors attend this festival every year across the three days it runs for and they will all be offering up delights for the taste buds that have been made using a clever combination of exotic produce and locally supplied ingredients.
This festival has a real family focus to its programme with various workshops for children put together and hosted by the Academy of Culinary Arts. The aim of the workshops is to teach you, the patrons, how easy it is to cook healthy food.
Adults are fully catered to as well, as there are various demonstrations held by some of the best chefs in the local area and much loved celebrity chefs. Gregg Wallace will be judging the Young chef competition for under 18’s at local catering colleges.
Basically if you live in or are holidaying in Chester during Easter, make sure you get yourself along to Chester Racecourse for a truly memorable experience.
