The Otley Christmas Market was first held in 1985 to give the shops in the town centre a boost for Christmas time. And each year, the festival becomes more successful whilst still celebrating the Victorian era and tradition.

The Otley Fayre will help get everyone in the Christmas spirit with this magical and traditional event. The main roads are closed to close off the town centre. And the stallholders, organisers, street entertainers and carol singers are all dressed in Victorian period dress to fully immerse you into the former era. 

The fayre has a great array of market stalls where visitors can shop for crafts, gifts, decorations, and food and drink produce. Look for Christmas presents for your family and friends and pick up some edible stocking fillers. You will be able to sample lots of food and drink products to make sure you like them. And there will be lots of beautiful, handcrafted gifts and decorations, a great Christmas present for a family member or close friend. 

The Otley Christmas Fayre is a truly magical experience and a special day that should not be missed. With the sound of Christmas carolers in the background as well as street organs and school choirs, you will feel very festive when you’re here. There is also fairground rides and amusements for children, street entertainers and morris dancers.
