The Macclesfield Beer Festival is returning for another year with plenty of beer, food and fun. Held at the Macclesfield Rugby Club, visitors can sample some of the best beer and cider from the local area. The event is organised by the Campaign for Real Ale and is perfect for real ale enthusiasts wanting to show their passion for ale. Whether you’re new to the world of real ale or consider yourself an ale veteran, this event is perfect for everyone.

On entry to the festival, visitors will get a commemorative festival glass which they can use throughout the sessions. The glasses can be filled with 1/4, 1/2 and full pint measurements so you can sample and drink a wide range of beer and cider at the festival. There will also be soft drinks, perries and wine available. Throughout the Macclesfield Beer Festival, there will also be live music to help create the perfect festival feel. This will include Chinese Marbles and XDC who will perform at the festival.

So whether you fancy exploring the world of real ale for the first time or just need a change of scenery from your local pub, this is a must for everyone. You will also be able to support the Cheshire Search and Rescue as all profit from the drinks go to the local cause.
