The Great British Food Festival is touring the UK for another year this summer and will be coming to Floors Castle for two days. The event celebrates British food and drink and is packed full of the best local produce for visitors to enjoy. The perfect day out for all the family, the festival is fun for everyone and you can even bring your dog along too.

At the festival, there will be a great line up of foodie entertainment including live demonstrations from local and celebrity chefs as well as demonstrations on the bake stage, BBQ and drinks stage and camper van cookery outdoor area. This is the perfect chance for foodies to pick up some tips to take back to their own kitchen. There will also be the ever so popular men v food event and the cake off where you can get your home-baked cake judged by professionals – no pressure! Live music featuring local bands and artists will help create a great atmosphere for all to enjoy with their delicious food and drinks in the sun.

Visitors will be able to browse around 100 market stalls at Floors Castle Food Festival which will feature local food and drink products as well as crafts and gifts from local companies. From chocolate and chilli sauce to jams, marmalades and local ale, there will be plenty of food and drink products to sample and purchase to take home and enjoy. Gifts and crafts will include handmade candles, paintings, ladies clothing and bath bombs and soaps. There will also be top notch street food for you to enjoy at the festival including gourmet burgers, curry and crepes. And to help wash this down, choose from one of the numbers of bars serving tasty tipples including ales, ciders, prosecco, Pimms and much more! There will also be plenty of soft drinks and hot drinks as well as gluten-free, nut- free and vegan and vegetarians options to suit all visitors.
